‘King of Wands’, the new single by Toronto based Brighid Fry (she/they) - better known as Housewife, is a brand-spanking new indie-rock song that dresses this feeling up perfectly while ingeniously referencing Tarot Cards’ figures ‘I wish I was the ‘King of Wands’ (But really, I'm Cassandra)’. The tune follows her recent great EP ‘You’ll Be Forgiven’, which is perfectly titled if you’ve happened to have not stumbled upon any of her musical output yet.

Edinburgh-based band Thundermoon are living up to to their enchanting band name in their debut single ‘Wild’. It’s a track that takes you gently by the hand and leads you away from the everyday noise, towards a more earthy and idyllic place. The queer trio, made up of friends Shaz Jamieson, Lorna Kelly and Kat Messer, has flourished in the local music scene, having already progressed from their first gig at a friend’s house to appearances at events such as the Meadow’s festival and the upcoming Edinburgh Fringe festival. 'Living in your Pocket' by Wolverhampton group The Jack Fletcher Band is a new indie-rock release from 14th July this year. Hailing from Derby, Marsielle are lighting up the UK indie rock scene this summer with the release of their newest FREEDOM EP. Perfect for fans of hazy indie rock reminiscent of sunshine and the 90s Manchester scene, the young band have already been singled out as ones to watch and for good reason. The EP is bursting of energy and is evident of the love the band have for the music they’re making which fans will find is extremely infectious, it would be hard to listen to these tracks without a smile on your face.

Kara Rhodes’ second single “Take Me Back” makes true of what her music has been described as: “intimate and relatable”. The song describes a relationship that lasted during a summer, and while there was hope it could, promises of marriage and devotion were made to be ultimately broken.
