Without You | Bangbang

Bangbang are a psychedelic pop act made up of two members, Criz and RFK. Criz was born in the Philippines and grew up in Australia while RFK is from the south of London. The pair met in a Hackney nightclub and have been inseperable since. Their first release was the Bangbang EP, released in 2017 and the project sets the tone for what is to come from the incredibly talented act.
Their newest single Without You, is another fantastic showcase of their abilities. The song is laden with a variety of experimental sounds which give the song a futuristic summer feeling. RFK really flexes his immense musical talent. The instrumentals have elements of funk, pop and dance. Combining a groovy bass line with a variety of instruments like guitar, keyboard, drums, piano and synth. A song not too dissimilar in terms of a vibe would be Get Lucky by Daft Punk.
The incredibly funky instrumental is paired up beautifully with the vocals provided by singer Criz. These soft but elegant vocals wrap the song in wool, providing an overall silkiness to the track. The lyrics paint a tale about London, a love letter to the capital almost. A romantic ballad that paired with a set of roses would put a smile on the face of any valentine.
