'Living in your Pocket' by Wolverhampton group The Jack Fletcher Band is a new indie-rock release from 14th July this year. Headed by singer Jack Fletcher and accompanied by guitarist George Hadley, bassist Henry Bradley, and drummer Tom Robinson, this band has made their mark in the music industry with their stripped back and nostalgic compositions which can only be described as timeless.
Sign Crushes Motorist - ‘Hurting’ | Album Review
Over the past year or so, Irish musician Liam McCay (AKA Sign Crushes Motorist) and his style of lo-fi/slowcore infused slacker rock has had a meteoric rise in popularity online, gathering millions of Spotify plays and developing a cult following within the lo-fi music community . He has released music under a variety of aliases, His latest project sees the return of 'Sign Crushes Motorist', and if you're a fan of anything Liam has done in the past, it is unlikely his latest album Hurting will disappoint.

Portugal. The Man - ‘Grim Generation’ | Single Review
On the 23rd of June 2023, Portugal. The Man, a rock band currently based in Portland, Oregon released their track titled ‘Grim Generation’ off of their new album titled Chris Black Changed My Life. Many listeners may recognise Portugal. The Man following their infectious Grammy-winning single ‘Feel It Still’ which skyrocketed off the charts back in 2017.
Revivalry - ‘Homesick’ | A Track Made to impress
Hailing from Cleethorpes, England, Revivalry are a three-piece teenage band aged 15 to 16, whose latest single ‘Homesick’ was released on May 26. ‘Homesick’ blends raw, gritty vocals with well-polished guitar and drums to create a fresh indie rock sound influenced by Arctic Monkeys and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Released on May 5, Savage Dreams is the third single from six-piece band Day Sleeper, whose debut album, ‘Everything Is’, launches on July 14. Hailing from Leith, Edinburgh, Day Sleeper cite Scottish post-rock bands Mogwai and The Twilight Sad as their main inspirations for the new single, which offers an introspective exploration of anxiety through both vocal and instrumental talent.
Marsielle - Freedom | EP Review
Hailing from Derby, Marsielle are lighting up the UK indie rock scene this summer with the release of their newest FREEDOM EP. Perfect for fans of hazy indie rock reminiscent of sunshine and the 90s Manchester scene, the young band have already been singled out as ones to watch and for good reason. The EP is bursting of energy and is evident of the love the band have for the music they’re making which fans will find is extremely infectious, it would be hard to listen to these tracks without a smile on your face.
Karra Rhodes - Take Me Back | Single Review
Kara Rhodes’ second single “Take Me Back” makes true of what her music has been described as: “intimate and relatable”. The song describes a relationship that lasted during a summer, and while there was hope it could, promises of marriage and devotion were made to be ultimately broken. The sunny, acoustic guitar strings and beats go together quite well, and matches the lyrics and feel of a hot summer.

Alexander Carson | Gig Review
Voodoo Daddy’s is unassuming. On a Thursday night in late March, the music venue is quiet, with the exception of glass clinking at the bar and cutlery clashing in the kitchen. On Timberhill in Norwich’s city centre, the venue doubles up as a gig space and pizza joint, and on the 31 st , it housed approximately 50 young folk gathered to see Norfolk’s own Alexander Carson (they/them), and their band, the dot dot dots… At this, the final leg of their tour, Carson’s show is a promotion of his latest album, The Idiot. The album, released in October 2022, is an exploration of overcoming personal demons, the mundane, and quiet love.
