Neverfine | Silhouettes

Weekly Feature: April 23 | Article Written BY Maelou Pugh

The alt-pop group Neverfine has announced the release of their debut track Silhouettes. In the first week of the trio’s establishment, they were granted a spot on BBC IntroducingScotland. They are undoubtedly a group to recognise in and around Glasgow.

Silhouettes uplifts the listener with displays of electronica, wonderfully mixed with beautiful voice and classic synth. Craig Kelly’s multi-instrumentalism exemplifies the scope of what Neverfine can already offer. With the introduction of vocalist Ashley Palkowski and later keyboardist Jess Blinkhorn, the trio set themselves up for success.

On an emotional level, the lyrical substance discusses emotional turmoil and relational difficulties. The track displays a wide spectrum of emotions, making it suitable for a wide range of mediums and performances.

The energy that will come organically as a result of performing live is apparent with Neverfine. The release of ‘Sillouhettes’ on April 21 st demonstrates the longevity of this alt pop trio, as they continue to work together in and out of the studio.
