The Sapiens are a brand new Aberdeen based four piece, releasing their debut EP Live For Yourself on the 20th of January just four weeks after fully forming. The group began jamming together in summer 2022, creating three of the EPs four tracks. Recently the group was joined by a fourth member and just weeks later released their incredible debut EP.
For a small group, each track sounds professionally produced with great playing and songwriting throughout. The EP is a great mix of acoustic and electric, with some upbeat drumming. Creating an interesting, energetic yet laid back song. The EPs upbeat sound makes for some great feel good music and will leave you excited to see whats next from the new artists. Live For Yourself is a must listen to kick off the week on a high.
