Our Noise and Mark Gardener - ‘FLA Remix’ | Single Review

November 1 | Written By Lauren Ketterl

Our Noise has teamed up with Ride’s Mark Gardener to remix their beloved hit ‘FLA’. This new version of the song features a compelling guitar hook that truly captivates the essence of the newly renovated song.

Our Noise comprises Lucy Di Santo on bass and vocals, Steve Fall on guitar, and Dan Cornelius on drums. The indie-rock group has gone from the streets of Toronto to New York City, sharing their one-of-a-kind sound with the world. Their electrifying sound blends punk rock with garage music to deliver a unique 90s punk-rock vibe. The trio has been compared to legends like PJ Harvey and the Pixies due to their skills in combining punk rock with new wave. Their latest release dropped on October 4th and reveals not only their incredible talent but also the works of Mark Gardener to create this thrilling song.

‘FLA’ remix pushes boundaries with its unique sound that ties well with the group’s distinguishing aesthetic and edgy feel. The song talks about traveling to FLA and all the places you could go through in order to get there. The catchy song mentions places such as Georgia, Jacksonville, and Daytona. The song sounds like it is straight out of a 90s movie about a rebellious teenager wanting to run away.

This hit perfectly shows how Our Noise is able to show their distinctive sound, combined with unique songwriting to create a one-of-a-kind song. The group is set to hit the road this October for the first UK tour dates, starting in Camden Town. Listeners should be excited to hear this song live and many more of their great creations.
